DNA Surveillance

Read Me

DNA Surveillance has run as a species identification service for over 10 years. In the intervening time, other tools and databases have developed that make DNA Surveillance less relevant. Given the rapidly changing technologies that underly web-based applications, and my retirement, it is no longer feasible to maintain this site.

The newer aspects of the site are being terminated at the end of March 2016. DNA Surveillance is still relevant for some taxa, especially cetaceans. The original application will continue to operate for these groups for some time, but might be terminated without a lot of warning.

thanks, Shane Lavery
